I need free internet disks, but I cannot download them off the net, because well I don’t have the net. So, what’s the best way to get free disks?? I use to see them everywhere, but now I can’t find them….go figure. THANKS
Why would you want them, even Aol doesn’t issue them out any more because they provide free service for broadband a dsl users. Aol only charges fordial user because of the numbers they provide you to get on the internet.

I had 30 days free trial to use Internet Download Manager, but now that 30 days are over, I cant use IDM anymore..but i thought if i uninstall and again download IDM and install, I would be able to use IDM again without buying. But it doesnt work. The program tells me that 30 days are over and i have to buy the software if i want to use. But franky speaking….i dont wanna buy. So is there anyway that i can use the free trial version of IDM again and again? I would appreciate if someone tells me.

No, you wont be able to access the internet until you pay for it, they’re not like other services such as cingular that lets u use it and suprisee you with a $200 bill (experience)
But you have an option to get unlimited internet for $5 or access for 24 hours which i believe is $1.99

I assumed that it came with my internet service, apparently not. I am on a fixed income & cannot afford another bill. I’m 52 yrs. old & this is my first computer. Could you help me out & advise as to which "free" service to download? Also whatever else I need, Spam-fighter or what? I sure can’t afford a bug or crash. Thanks a bunch!
Heres a few good programs that i think wouldn’t hurt to have…
Advanced system care free….this software i use to take care and speed up the insides of my computer…
Malwarbytes…looks for malware..
Spybot search and destroy…looks for spyware
AVG free antivirus…
I also recommend revo uninstaller so when it uninstalls stuff it pulls that stuff out of the registry so it doesn’t bog down your computer….a registry cleaner would be good also like ccleaner
All this programs are free and you just need to type there names in bold into the search at http://download.cnet.com/windows/ and download an install them….hope this helps…

Because i can’t install 2009 (it says AVG 8 is installed but i uninstalled it). Problem is, i can’t find it anywhere. It was replaced on the Kaspersky site with the new one, and i can’t find it on any 3rd party websites.

No matter what version you have it will still detect avg, here are removal instructions:

This problem appears to afflict a lot of new comers to Kaspersky recently, please try running the avg removal tool, which can be downloaded from here:
http://www.grisoft.com/fr.36
Also you may want to try deleting some of your registry keys left behind by avg.
To access the registry, type regedit in the run command.
(for vista type it in search then hit enter)
Now navigate to and delete the following keys IF they exist:
*remember only delete the last part of it, do not delete the main key, just the things marked avg*
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Uninstall\ AVG8Uninstall
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG
or it may be instead
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVG8
if you see any other entry’s(keys) with avg, or avg8 or similar in them in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Uninstall\ your avg key name here
or
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ your avg key name here
DELETE THEM,
And lastly look in C:\Program Files and delete any avg folders you find.
Run a registry cleaner, ccleaner is good:http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Now restart your computer and start the installation of Kaspersky.
