What’s a good photo editing program that has a free trial download that is compatible with Windows ME?

A good FREE (as in NEVER having to pay for it) Image editor program online is GIMP.
You can download it at http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html
Since you’re running ME, you’ll need to download GKT+ 2.6.10 instead of 2.8.18 in order to get GIMP to work on your system & I highly suggest picking up the help files as well.
You can probably find a lot of GIMP tutorials online if you need help learning the program & the HELP files fail to help you out.
I should caution that the makers of GIMP no longer carries any support for Windows 98/ME, so if GIMP crashes on you… you’ll have to live with it as the makers won’t fix 98/ME-related bugs.
